Fort Bragg, CA

Primarily a historic logging and fishing Community, Fort Bragg is the last ocean town north from the Bay Area that offers a true getaway. Spectacular views, fine dining, plenty of activities make this a destination.

The Skunk Train now offers trestles pedaled by foot on a wooded getaway on the rail lines. Don’t forget to walk the Coastal trail through the old mill site and wander down to Glass Beach. If you’re here on the First Friday of every month, there is a “gallery crawl” in the historic downtown area – show up and hobnob with the locals.
