Scott Roat is, without a doubt, one of the most creative, diligent, honest and persevering agents on the Mendocino Coast in my experience as both a resident and developer on the Coast over the last 12 years.
In my purchase of “the Island”, one of the most difficult acquisitions either he or I have ever been associated with, Scott kept his cool through an escrow that lasted over a year between approvals of loan beneficiaries, multiple changes in plans, back and forth issues with the lenders, and other complex and trying obstacles.
As I represented myself on the buying side, and Scott represented the seller on the listing side, I found Scott unusually personable, knowledgeable, insightful, patient, and humorous through these trying and difficult times.
I could not recommend him too highly to anyone trying to navigate their way through an acquisition or sale of a property on the Coast. In my experience, there are none better to handle either side of the equation.
